Eggshell membrane, often shortened to ESM, is the thin membrane found just inside the eggshell. It naturally contains collagen, elastin, glucosamine and other structural components. Unlike collagen sourced from cattle, fish or chicken tissue, this collagen comes from the membrane of hen's eggshells.
