Pregnancy places particular demands on several micronutrients.
Folate contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy. Prio Vitality Prenatal provides 1 mg of folate as 5-MTHF, an active form of folate.
Iron contributes to normal red blood cell and haemoglobin formation. Each daily serving provides 25 mg iron as iron bisglycinate.
Iodine contributes to normal production of thyroid hormones and normal thyroid function, with 150 mcg iodine per daily serving.
The formula also provides 50 mcg (2000 IU) vitamin D3 from algae, together with vitamins K1 and K2, magnesium, zinc, selenium and other essential micronutrients.
